The disconnect is real. When we had our RM in last year she was talking about making sure we always ask customers if they want to size up and her example was if they want a venti latte ask if they want it trenta 🫢

Onfg. Did anyone point out it’s against Starbucks policy to sell lattes in a Trenta?? Isn’t it?? I know you can sell refreshers, cold brew, and ice coffee. I mean there is no Trenta hot cup. She must have come from McDonalds or something. I would have said hey maybe we could recommend to get it *supersized.*

She has been with the company for years, she simply doesn’t know lol. When my fellow ssv pointed out we couldn’t do trenta lattes she was like “it’s just one example can someone give me another example of how we can casually upsell” lol. They really don’t care about anything except money.

Yeah, one time I was working at another store in my district, and it wasn't horrible but steady, and an hour in I saw my DM put her apron on and start working on the floor. I was on DT bar but had to help her with warming

Our dm has been helping in the store lately and she doesnt know what a dirty chai is or the difference between decaf and regular espresso 💀 honestly she doesnt know anything except for warming so she just hangs out there while we’re dying on a 2 play for 4 hours
