i’m one of the areas hit with the ugly winter storm and i walk to work bc it’s fairly close but it’s -5 degrees outside and my entire apartment complex is frozen over
i asked my sm if we are open and i got hiT with a message abt it being regular hours, roads open and heavy customer traffic
i’m not tryna out my safety at risk busting my ass on the way to work , what do y’all suggest i do?

Your more important than a job. Don’t do anything your uncomfortable with. Tell your sm you can’t safely make it to work. I’ve had situations before where my sm has offered to come pick me up because she needed that shift covered. If something like that can be arranged that would be ideal for you. Just remember Your more important than a job. Don’t feel bad about saying you can’t come in.
