Have you tried letting the espresso shot run along the inside wall of the cup as it's pulling? That way, the shot itself collects at the bottom with a flat surface

how do you get rid of that? my milk was frothy but my espresso had bubbles. is it the same method for getting rid of milk bubbles?

Oh yeah it’s actually kinda tough on the M2s. On m1 you could pull the pour spout thingy down to the shot glass and that pretty much got rid of them. I think you could swirl and tap for espresso, but I would just hold the shot glass up and at a diagonal angle. Obviously you’re not gonna want to do that for every drink though lol
