the fact that I don't feel comfortable driving in the weather I'm currently in, knowing how my car drives in this shit, and my shift tells me I still have to come in if I cant find coverage. like thanks for putting me at risk, ssv :) I'm like 45 minutes away from my store. and they expect me to be there in dangerous conditions???

my bf's dad is driving me since they're not gonna fucking budge and I can't drive myself.

so thanks, siren, for putting your employees at risk every single day :)

The other evening my sm told everyone to allow extra time to get to work safely and on time and then proceeded to be 10 minutes late the next morning 💀 10 minutes is not that big of a deal but come on now. Not after you just told all of us to be on time. 🤣

unfortunately, I couldn't. I had called my store in the morning and they told me if I couldn't find coverage, I had to. it sucks ass, but that's how it is :(

My car was completely buried under snow and then a sheet of ice (yay ice rain) and they told me I had to dig it out and come to work. I sent them pictures of my unplowed street with snow up past most cars wheel wells. They're response? Call a cab. Uhmmm. If the snow is past the wheel wells, no cab is going to make it either fam. I then asked what the protocol was for slipping and getting an injury while attempting to come to work in hazardous conditions, and if I should get the workers compensation forms pre filled and ready. They then told me stay home.

People were also on skiis and snow shoes coming to our store. Like nope.

When you post something online , you risk someone not having the same opinion as you. Which is fine but dont push responsibility to someone else bc you can’t handle it. Either find a way to get to work or take accountability for your actions and accept the consequences. Hope you find a solution
