It's 6 degrees outside and we're estimated to get 1-2 feet of snow and yet my store decided to stay open. On top of that I've only sold iced drinks so far :/

Will never be able to wrap my head around the fact that customers still decide to go to starbucks in the snow…never once in my life has it snowed and I’ve thought “I’m gonna go get starbucks right now, I just HAVE to have it regardless of the weather and safety at risk for both employees and myself”
I’ll always remember all of the shifts I worked when it snowed and I thought “wow it’ll be a chill shift today” but nope, it was still quite busy and hectic because nothing will stop these obsessed customers

Honestly it's a bit more understandable why people are coming here, since my store is a licensee inside a grocery store, but at the same time idk why people are out and about to begin with

Yup currently out here in 0°f, it's just going to be me and one other from 4-close today, I'm glad the person closing with me is phenomenal but damn getting sent on lunch 30 minutes into my shift is wild

roads definitely weren't clear but there also weren't many people on them so it wasn't too bad
