anyone else think this policy is so stupid? my store is opening late tomorrow because of the weather and none of us that were supposed to come in before the delayed opening time will be compensated for those lost hours. like it’s not my decision or my fault to come in late and you can’t pay me for $40 worth of labor? it’s so dumb

Depending on your state and policies you could be paid for the time missed. It’s under inclement weather pay category/ policy. Your SM just needs to let your DM know why they’re using it or they put in notes section on the pay adjustments.

it must be my state, we’re compensated for it if it’s more than 3 hours lost, anything below we aren’t. there’s been a few times it’s happened and the details were shared directly from the dm so i’m pretty sure it’s actually the policy
