Buying bottles of syrup (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by whyysocorny
Hi y’all, 279****, it’s been a few years since I’ve been a barista so I wanted to check here to see if you’re still able to buy bottles of syrup with the pumps also.
In my memory, at my store only vanilla and caramel had barcodes so we could only sell those, but wanted to see if that’s changed. Thanks! Godspeed to anyone working the next few days!

Vanilla and caramel still have barcodes and are still sellable through the POS, but I haven’t heard of anyone asking to buy a pump, so I don’t know the policy on that part 🤔

It is! It's just such a rare thing that few people know about it, like changing the pump every time you change the bottle. Nowhere I worked did that lol

The change to only a few flavors for retail sale in ~2020 should've kept the pump rule in place but can always be double checked

I don't think we can sell the pumps. Not certain though

my store just asks if people want a pump if we have extras...

Pretty sure it’s up to the location to sell any number of there syrups ,not sure about Christmas and I’d recommend a licensed store, if they have a stockpile of pumps like mine I’m sure they’d give one to you. I’ve personally sold a toffee nut and included a new pump for them, which she happily thanked bc hers was years old.

Another licensed store here my boss accidentally ordered 3 cases of raspberry, that we never use, and we've been selling it.

Nope we can only sell vanilla w/ barcodes. Not sure about the pump though
