Trying to make a drink based off salted Carmel mocha. Want some help on it! (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Gr0wlerz
Learned about a past drink we had called the salted caramel mocha. I wanted to make something based off it.

So far what I have is (for a tall iced)
- 1 salt packet mixed into espresso
- 2 full pumps dark caramel
Salt packet ontop of ice.

I found this works better as a shaken espresso aswell.

I know the recipe was toffee nut and mocha. But right now I'm just trying any syrup to see what else could work.

I feel like maybe hazelnut, cinnamon dolce or toasted vanilla could work in this? Or vanilla bean/Malt powder?

I love the dark caramel honeslty aswell, why is it so good 😭.

the salted caramel mocha was made as a regular mocha, with toffee nut, whip caramel drizzy and a salt topping which we don’t have anymore. sub the topping for a packet of salt and you basically have t the old drink :) very popular at my location still

i think if you do a cold version, itd be really good with cold foam with salt packets and dark caramel sauce.

salted brown butter topping is also gonna make a nice addition to a normal salted caramel mocha, cause the ONLY part we're missing from the drink itself is the special topping.
