What’s the rule for closing when the power goes out? Like how long do we have to wait, my manager says 30 mins but that seems excessive

how can you serve anything with no power?? you can’t brew, mastrenas must be down, hell you can’t even grind beans to do pour overs,, are your tills working??

Im pretty sure you close immediately if there’s a power outage. I have closed many a store early for this exact reason. You might have to wait to leave, but you still get paid for sitting there waiting for it to work again if they make you. I’ve never been made to wait, but that could just be my managers.
