calling out the day before holiday pay? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I'm working christmas day (1.5x pay) but was scheduled today, christmas eve (regular pay) but wasn't able to go to work today due to a medical flare-up.
is there a policy where you have to work your scheduled shift the day before & the day after ,
or is it OK to call out christmas eve & still work Christmas day for holiday pay?
the Disney company had this as a policy (I got sent home due to medical 2 days before a holiday so they didn't give me 1.5x, since I worked the holiday but not the day before).

I am almost 100% sure this is not the policy for Starbucks. You swill be able to work your 1.5x day on Christmas.

you can work only christmas day this week and still get paid time and a half. hell you could only work christmas day this whole month and still get time and a half. time worked is time paid. thats a shitty policy disney had though.
