Every time someone did that yesterday, it was like a punch to thd gut. Like you can't even leave a dollar?

"i don't have to. i choose to because i like having a roof over my head."

I will never forget a man opening the door to scream at us for working on Jesus's bday. I served back "Jesus was born in March". It was just something I got from Supernatural, but more than a few people agree. It was funny.

I know right! If Starbucks was closed, especially at the airport. They would have no place to get food or drinks. Not all airlines serve food these days.

As a healthcare worker I went to Starbucks to get a hot chocolate, my barista and I laughed and had a great interaction and she even gave me a free cake pop, neither of us mentioned how it sucked that we worked today it was great❤️

Not everyone celebrates Christmas. Is working over the holidays not voluntary at your store?
Personal_Loan_2665 [OP] 17 points 6m ago
only christmas day is voluntary here :(
Senaraze 2 points 6m ago
Your store is open Christmas Day??
Personal_Loan_2665 [OP] 6 points 6m ago
it’s only open bc we had enough people volunteer
MotelCalifornia6 3 points 6m ago
Unless you specifically ask for Christmas Eve off you have to work on it, and considering how busy it is, you have to ask for it off probably a month or so in advance. Fortunately we’re closed on Christmas.
Naive_Enthusiasm_561 2 points 6m ago
I was denied my request to take it off, I requested in November, and December. Wrote it and Christmas as the two out of 5 holidays I can’t work. Offered to work thanksgiving, new years, and New Year’s Eve. 🙃
