As the shift: Open safe, count it, count all tills. Count milk FOH and BOH in the big book, it’s at the beginning of the current week. Then put out RTDE sandwiches/ paninis. Then date sandwiches of the day like BG, TB, all everything for going out during the PM of the 26th. Then go place your order. (Maybe put it away first, so you know what you need to order. You order for 2 days from now, so the 27th it’ll arrive.) Then run your openers breaks after yours at about the 2 hour in mark. I would wait to open the lobby until all that shit is done, and they can’t say shit to you about it bc you’re the only person there today. I’ve had to be the opener/mid a whole bunch so I know about having to work outside my position but I’m sorry it’s so new and overwhelming, it sounds like you need way more floor support also lol a 3 floor for Christmas is like one of the worst things I’ve ever imagined as bad as Starbucks life goes. Deep breaths. No matter what, you will get through it. Remember it’s just coffee. I know the fast drive through times are pushed by management but just find a rhythm that works for the three of you and don’t let ppl get to you. No one should be in that big of a hurry today , there’s no late to work. If all else fails, have someone puke in the lobby - they’ll close the cafe.

as a ssv of only two weeks, i was the opener today and i had a five person play. i still felt stressed. i can’t imagine how your sm and dm thought this was okay. I’m sending good vibes.
