If you like Starbucks but wish it was run better, I'd say go for it. I currently manage a licensed store inside a casino, and It sucks because you are not the most important business/department on your property. It's hard to get things done and do things right, upper management knows nothing about what it takes to run a Starbucks and constantly makes baffling decisions you just have to live with beause they don't know shit about Starbucks. I miss my corporate store.

TLDR: If you enjoy making the drinks and the job itself, I'd definitely give corporate a try.

Corporate Starbucks is run slightly more effectively but leaves absolutely no room for you to be human. You are now a vending machine. A stressed out vending machine.

ngl if you’re gonna work at starbucks and get stressed, it’s best to work at starbucks getting stressed with more pay than doing all of that and not getting as much as you could if u worked corp.

If you work full time there and want to keep your hours that way then stay. I’ve never seen anyone in all 3 subxs I’ve worked at actually get 40 hours except the managers
