They’ll pay through the semester you’re already enrolled in at the very least. But after that you’re out of luck. I’d reach out and see if you can pick up shifts

this company is so fucking stupid. Your hiring too many people if you can’t afford to give everyone 20 hours. It’s not a perk if you don’t give employees enough hours to get the perks.

Agreed. January is usually rough though. Remember it’s an average so you can miss a few weeks with a little less and potentially be ok. Hoping for the best :(

Im going to be honest starbucks pulls a lot of bull shit on people. I'd look for somewhere else if you can. Almost all of the employees at my old store, which was a model store for the district left or quit after the bull shit pulled around hours and broken promises. Starbucks will gas light you on this shit. try to look for other places with tuition reimbursement if you can.

at my store the SM guarantees 20 to ASU and insurance users. The rest of us, are on our own.

Tell your manager your situation and ask if you can be put at other stores in your area as well for the hours needed
