So I (20 M) was working for Starbucks for a year, I need to take a break for personal issues and left. I wanted to come back but at a different location but every place I applied I never hear back. Is something I can do to help my chances?

Right now is the slow period. People aren’t getting hours as is. It’s likely they just don’t have space for new hires right now.

Might not be hiring, might be your availability / hours a week, might be the note your former SM left when they processed your separation (SM's are required to contact PR to see if you are eligible for rehire).
