I would ask. At mine, a lot of them don’t wear the standard red shirts or anything. Just saw a girl wearing a Prince shirt and ripped jeans at the Target Starbucks wear I work at

i was told to wear all black when i started at tarbucks. but in practice there was a lot of people just wearing whatever they wanted that was still in targets dress code as well.

Yes, depends on how strict your HR is on the dress code. But you’re probably better off asking questions about Tarbucks dress code over in r/target cuz it IS different than Starbucks.

At mine we just have to wear a black shirt and either non ripped jeans, khakis or kinda just whatever as long as they're not ripped, but in target there's a guy who wears ripped jeans and our SD doesn't even care. My TL has always worn black jeans so I started wearing them too, my store is really chill about what everyone wears though. So it probably just varies from store to store.

They just updated the handbook so you can wear a red or white shirt too, although I don’t know why anyone would want to wear a white one it would get stained so fast.

Oh fr?!?! Ig I'll wait and hear about that, my TL typically never hears about stuff unless she hears it from us bc nobody tells her anything lol. Fr tho, who the hell would wanna wear white 💀 I think even red would quickly get stained tbh.

Yeah you can always access the handbook from WorkDay and there’s a section on uniform requirements, from there it’s a link to specific departments for Food/Beverage and if you follow that you get to Starbucks and also like Deli. But you have to be on a MyDevice or on a computer in TSC, it doesn’t work on a personal device. I found out because I was wondering if I could wear a skirt, since I can when I am scheduled in other areas, and my HR didn’t know and made me check lol.

Good to know lol. I never have a mydevice though unfortunately. I'm only ever in Starbucks or on lanes, I probably should have one for lanes but I was never trained to have one and never feel like getting one. I could check on the computer but that's too much work ngl 💀
