pay raise help (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by plaidflannelgirl
for partners making 15/hr before the pay raise that just happened, what did your hourly rate go up to based on the market change? i was told my new hourly pay was going to be 16.48/hr but looking at the partner hub it only got raised to $15.50, did my SM accidentally give me someone else’s new hourly rate or is mine incorrect and it should be $16.48?

I keep seeing all these posts about raises.
Why don't we all know about it? Because I don't.

my SM pulled us all off the floor individually about 2 weeks ago to tell us what our new pay would be. not sure why yours didn’t tell you but it’s based on inflation / market change. new pay is effective 12/26

Mine went from 15-16.50 and I’ve only worked for 5 months. I thought it was supposed to go up 3% but I’ll take it as a teen hahah

It depends how long you've been with the company, for example, if you've been with the company for 2 years you will receive a 4% raise, if it's been more or less the percentage is different

the tenure / longevity raise is different from the market change/inflation raise im pretty sure.

talk to your manager about it. either shes wrong and you werent gonna get 16 or your increase is wrong and she can help fix it.

Mine says 15.75 now. Go to partner hub, central, profile, compensation

yea mine was updated on 12/23 from $15 to $15.50 but SSVs and tenured partners got a 50c raise different from the market raise. my raise based on the market change was supposed to be to $16.48

I do the math myself because I don’t trust my sm lol I’m always correct calculating what my new pay will be.

I've only worked 4 and a half hours, haven't gotten a paycheck yet but it says 16 an hour for me. On my offer letter it said 15 an hour, so I'm taking it as a glitch, but maybe it will be a nice surprise

I was making 15.50 when I first started 7 months ago because I live in California (15 min wage already). I checked my partner central and my raise as of yesterday has me earning 16 exact.
