I’m looking to move up and I’m not sure how to talk to my SM about it! I know I would have to become a barista trainer first at least in our district. How should I bring it up to my SM? I’ve been there almost a year and have years of supervisory experience at another job.

Always just apply for it on the same site you used to apply for the barista position then let management know you applied.
