It was Monday after Xmas and I’m just on bar making drinks this is the interaction
For context the partner on reg only been with us 2 weeks,
Me: tall peppermint hot chocolate
Customer: I wanted a peppermint mocha
Me: ok I got you
Green bean: she wanted a peppermint no caffeine
Me: ok miss so do you want decaf shots?
Customer: i just want a peppermint mocha I don’t know why your making this so hard(in nasty tone)
Me: ok I got you**pulls two shots**
Hands it off and her 10 year old daughter takes it. I tried I was nice just asked a simple question to make sure it’s good.

Been in kinda similar situation as above way too many times. Only difference is where Im from, customers aren't rude and they will ask us to learn how to order whatever they are ordering as to make sure they do it properly in the future.

I work in a slower store so we don’t really get to many people like this.

Wow. Working in slow stores in my country is fun because we get to really know the customers and they get to really know us creating that 3rd Home thingy. But at d same time it could get wayyyyy toooo boring if you've been used to being being. On a side note, hope you get less of fussy customers and more of friendly ones.

But no seriously, I don’t know what the hell is up with customers lately. They don’t know what the hell they’re ordering or how to order or how to look at the fuckin DT screen and then get mad at me when I try to clarify. I’ve always been the chippy person with the “kill ‘em with kindness” attitude for years but lately I’ve been *extremely* dry taking orders and reflecting any attitude I’ve been given. To say the least, all of my baristas think it’s hilarious to see me like this lmao so at least there’s some upside.

Dude yes! Wtf is up with the up tick of these kind of people lately? The ones that get rude or loud especially when they are corrected or proven wrong? And then when that happens I know damn well they know they are wrong but turn to anger and blame you out of pure embarrassment.
