does anyone know where the rules are for tip splitting ? my stores having a debate on whether or not the tips get split individually for christmas eve and a day we were out bc of snow and people didn’t come in. ik the tips get split for holidays that get paid time and a half but idk where to find the actual rules. thanks !

For cash tips, Christmas is the only day where tips are split only among people who worked that day.

Generally it’s just Christmas that gets split. It’s up to the manager though if they want to do that day though.
