“increased U.S. hourly partner wages” yes thank you i love getting 45. cents more as of 12/26
poopylilbutt 7 points 6m ago
I didn’t even know we were getting raises lol
PartyAnything3408 14 points 6m ago
it’s an annual thing, i think as long as you’ve been with the company for three months before 12/26 then you get it

Lmao fire all the old good baristas who loved their jobs and wanted to unionize so they could actually feel heard. I shall sing this tune loud and proud. FUCK YOU STARBUCKS. Fuck you Howard Schultz may your overpriced shit burn to the ground.
Leaving and working for a small company was the best thing I could have ever done, I spread myself thin for the bux and for what? 2x $75 bonuses for partner of the quester and a ducking .50 cent raise! A new era my ass. How about “same shit, new ads”.
rlogranite 8 points 6m ago
At least you made partner of the quarter a couple of times. I've been a partner now for 42 quarters and never made partner of the quarter.

Starbucks: “Guys come on we have you an extra 46 cent as an hour we’re basically Jesus.”

Baristas: “Cool so you’re gonna stop slashing our store labor hours now right?”

Starbucks:…No.
Imatallguy 6 points 6m ago
So basically paying you what they were before the raise. Giving partners a raise that doesn’t cost the company any more money.

This just makes the raise an illusion.
Broad-Flounder-4971 33 points 6m ago
Cool! I’ll still be voting yes for a union next month for my store :) no matter how good the benefits, I want protections.
Complete-Field4653 27 points 6m ago
A new Era of fucking us over. I’ve never felt more attacked 😂

When did they do that?

The 20 days was temporary along with the 30 days. It has always been 10 days. The expansion was pandemic related. Your SM should have told you this.
This is a statement not an opinion either way. I don't like the system used for this benefit, I find it unsafe, and will not use it.

Is it not just Care. com?
Shoddy_Teach_6985 2 points 6m ago
Oh wow, that is messed up. Are you a union store? I can give advice if you are. Otherwise, I'm sorry that is not right: to take away half a benefit when they are reporting record profits
Full_Technician_649 13 points 6m ago
i'll believe it when i actually receive the benefits. until then, this sounds like propaganda to make partners stop complaining about the workers' rights violations

Found this post while scrolling through linkendin looking for new jobs (oh the irony). The comments on the post did restore some faith in people for me but like, improving the partner experience since when? 🧍
BeardiesRule112 12 points 6m ago
It’s a new era…. Of bending you over
justatransguy 8 points 6m ago
.45 extra an hour and 20 hr schedule cuts per week 🙃
shellybean8760 6 points 6m ago
Here’s a small raise and half the hours 🫠
Zealousideal-Star448 5 points 6m ago
If they cared about us they would pay us a livable wage. At least enough to pay rent without have 3 other jobs
cmgriff1999 3 points 6m ago
The sad part is, in a majority of the country (granted not all) they do pay a livable wage… at a consistent 40 hours a week. Doesn’t help when they only give 10-12 a week and that’s even inconsistent
Zealousideal-Star448 1 points 6m ago
Lmao where I am even our manager has a second job
jakhei 5 points 6m ago
i need hours to pay rent that’s literally all i’m asking for 😭
cmgriff1999 3 points 6m ago
But then they act surprised when you remove all your availability to work your other job that gives me a consistent 40 a week
adilsyk 5 points 6m ago
How do you even access the benefits
hantnah 3 points 6m ago
The partner hub - if you want some good explanation from a person, ask your SM about benefits - if your SM doesn’t know, contact Partner Resources
champshere 4 points 6m ago
All it took was a National union uprising
megs1288 3 points 6m ago
They forgot “update stores to match business”
Snarfungus 3 points 6m ago
i feel like if they cared about our financial well being they’d allow partners to be scheduled real full time hours and actually let us make a living wage :/
deathbeforedecaf1984 3 points 6m ago
We’re offering to give you the hours so you can survive! Go Us!
AuntieRia1128 2 points 6m ago
I didn’t get a raise 🥺

Torirock10 1 points 6m ago

AuntieRia1128 1 points 6m ago
I’ve been with the company for nearly 3 years… since 2020
Torirock10 2 points 6m ago

Just leave if you want to moan 24/7. Honestly, it must be so boring being an energy-drain like this!
Aggravating_Plane_31 6 points 6m ago
I’d agree on most days tbh, some of these people love to complain and trauma dump here . But we shouldn’t have a 5 partner play for peak when we earn a 8 partner play
tang0foxtr0t 4 points 6m ago
so get off this subreddit ???
