Ahh I have seen people posting about this…I’m not super concerned about hours because I don’t really need a second job but that is a good thing to consider, thank you!

your manager, shift managers, and coworkers are gonna be what makes or breaks the job. i love my job at Starbucks because the people there are really nice, it feels like a community and we all help each other out when things get stressful etc. but i can easily imagine it being a really shitty job if the people there aren't great. it's super dependent on who's there imo. also, it's gonna be pretty stressful at first no matter what but don't quit because of that because it does get easier after a couple weeks/months. if you have a few different Starbucks by you, you could hop around til you find people you like lol, if you have to. or just go in there as a customer and chill for a bit and see how the baristas are together etc. and apply to whichever store seems to be flowing the best. that's my best advice 🤷‍♀️

I second this. I like my job but if i had a different manager or different co workers i could see how it would be hell. Overall it’s nota hard job once you get past the learning curve and it can be fun if you let it be.
