My store has had about four different managers this year and every single one without a doubt becomes an absolute bitch when it’s time to find coverage for a shift supervisor. I called out sick because I had Covid about a week ago and my manager wrote me up for it because I didn’t give her enough notice. Every time a shift supervisor asked her to find coverage for them she makes them find their own coverage even when they are sick, which is against policy
Today my coworker (also a shift) texted me that she was in urgent care currently and asked our manager to find her coverage for tomorrow. Our manager told her to ask me to find coverage. Why would she do that?? Why can’t she just do her job??? I’m closing the store tonight, and opening it tomorrow. And now I’m being asked to stay later. Absolutely not I’m so over it
