I’ve had a ton of shit jobs, no doubt but Starbucks drives me crazy. Do not put on a front to customers and the world you’re this progressive amazing company with the best benefits and turn your back and treat your employees like absolute dog shit. Like you’re a corporate greed company just say that I can’t with the faux eco consciousness and all the other bullshit. I literally love my coworkers would die for them but every week hearing the stuff people are having to do to stay afloat is excruciating I feel so bad for all of us working this job and other shit jobs and probably being in school. And the commitments don’t get me started I COMMIT TO WORKING what more can I do bae?? I’m barely getting paid as it is with no hours and with a bunch of badly trained new people who aren’t helpful (I know training is ass not blaming them at all) closing all the time and coming into floors with absolutely nothing done or prepped or stocked. Stop shoving down our throats “end of fiscal year” “slow season” like yes to some degree but somethings not adding up I would rather billionaire Starbucks simp ceo send every employee a “what I bought with the labor you did haul video” then hear one more person try to defend this culture of overconsumption and greed (capitalism problem I know but if Starbucks expects me to live up to their mission and values I expect them to do the same with every employee or just cut the bullshit “progressive” act) Goodnight and if you’re not a barista reading this please be nice and if you can tip! ❤️ Happy new year y’all hoping we all make it through!!
