if I transfer stores, will my pay rate change? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I started over the summer in Louisiana, and I started at $15. But will be transferring to a store in Miami, which is considerably more expensive. I'm u sure what the starting rate is at my new store, but will it increase if the starting rate is higher there?

i believe florida is at $15/hr at starbucks so your pay wont increase.

You can always call the partner helpline and ask. You’ll need a store number for them to look it up. They’ll tell you the pay scale of your current location and the pay scale of the location you’re looking at. If it’s different, you can do some pretty simple math to see what your new rate will be.
That’s what I did when I was trying to decide where to move. I chose random stores from the different cities I was looking at and went with the city that paid the most.

base pay is $15/hr everywhere unless the states minimum wage is higher
