How do I get the 3 stars per dollar? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I've seen other partners with a card that shows 3 stars per dollar in the app but I can't figure out how to do it

As a partner, you get 2 stars per dollar if you pay with your credit/debit card linked in your app. And you get 3 stars per dollar if you pay with your partner card in the app. You can get your partner card number from mypartnerinfo and link it to the app that way.

It says you get 3 stars per dollar online, but I went through the correct steps and my green apron card in my app says right on it that it just earns 2.

You may need to add your partner number to the account. That’s my only other guess.

Mine said it earns me 2 stars for the longest time until suddenly one day it finally changed to 3 stars

I've done that and my partner numbers are linked as well but it shows 2 per dollar

even if you've added both your partner numbers (368\*\*\*\*\*) and your partner card (16 digits + PIN), it's possible that your digital partner card says 2 stars per dollar but is actually giving you 3 stars! you can double check your order history to see how many stars you're actually earning - the order summary will show the amount & stars earned, and if you click on a past order it should list your card and how many stars/dollar you're getting. in "scan" my card shows 2 stars per dollar, but in my order history it shows 3 stars per dollar.

Log into starbucks.com (in a browser, not the app) with your Starbucks Rewards account, go to Account>Personal Info in the top right. At the bottom, you should be able to add your partner number to your account.
Once you do that, you'll get 3 stars per dollar when using a gift card and 2 stars per dollar when using a linked external payment method or scanning in store and paying outside the app.

It’s 3 stars when you link your partner card AND load money into it (either transferred from a gift card or your own payment), and 2 stars if you just have your partner numbers in there but decide to pay with your saved card (without transferring funds).
