So I am training today and the store next to us needed baristas and my supervisor was asking only the baristas, not supervisors, who wanted to go over and help the B store. I use to volunteer to help the B store but last time, this homeless dude walked into our bar area where we made drinks and verbally assaulted us, was getting violet and it almost became physical and I was shaking after that experience(my gm knows this). I never went to B store ever again. Also everyone at my store doesn’t like B store because they have had bad experiences as well. Well I said no and I’m also training and my gm decided to make us both go. I told her no because I don’t feel safe at that store and she was beyond annoyed and only sent my trainee, which I was shocked because I’m training her. She didn’t try to force the other baristas to go, only me and my trainee. Can GMs force us to go to other stores even if we fear for our safety? Thank you !
