What do you guys wear for pants? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by PrestigiousLong3023
I’m so sick of jeans. I only have like two pairs that even fit dress code anyway. What do you guys wear for pants/where do you buy them?
spoopy_ruby 47 points 6m ago
I wear scrubs meant for nurses, super comfy and have lots of pockets
gothlene 14 points 6m ago
Same i wear the dickies scrubs
maddieebobaddiee 1 points 6m ago
why dickies lol
gothlene 3 points 6m ago
Because they're an extremely durable brand made for people who work heavy jobs lol
ezranilla 7 points 6m ago
they make em in joggers style and they're super cute imo
RedDeadGurl 3 points 6m ago
I was always curious if you could wear scrub pants
maddieebobaddiee 2 points 6m ago

The superior choice
mimitalu 14 points 6m ago
Our SM is SUPER strict about dress code, so I wear either cargo pants or slacks. I also like cargo pants because I can layer leggings underneath them for those super cold days on window. When it's less cold I also wear skinny pants that aren't jean material
Garfield_Simp 13 points 6m ago
Semi baggy yoga pants, never been called out by anyone so I assume it’s safe and do not know what else is lmao
Solid_Wish 4 points 6m ago
These are against dress code so i wouldn't take this as legit advice. You can wear scrub bottoms, leggings under dresses/skirts, jeggings, cargos, khakis, and dark jeans.
BeardiesRule112 10 points 6m ago
I literally never wear jeans. Joggers all day every day baby
CamdenF 9 points 6m ago
Don’t joggers fall into “workout apparel”?
BeardiesRule112 6 points 6m ago
Nah. Mine look more business casual
Alarming_Base3148 4 points 6m ago
this
Chino joggers/khaki joggers
look like slacks with cuffed ankles

or loose jeans/slacks for freedom of movement
oshian_ 8 points 6m ago
i wear overalls when i’m tired of jeans, super comfy
onigi-ri 6 points 6m ago
any of the uniqlo wide pants. they do free alterations so it's super easy to get comfy ones that are your size
Rough-Tie-3084 5 points 6m ago

DIRTY_REDD__ 3 points 6m ago
For guys hiking pants are the move. Light and lots of stretch
littleorphananney 3 points 6m ago
I gave zero shits and wore leggings if I knew my SM wouldn’t be there. I came to know her schedule pretty quickly.
xthefabledfox 3 points 6m ago
Jeggings or dresses/skirts with tights underneath. If I do wear jeans I like the super stretchy American eagle ones
TH00TN00T 3 points 6m ago
These are super comfy and cheap $1 plus they’re on sale right now too
Puzzleheaded_You2601 6 points 6m ago
I don’t think my manager would allow those since it doesn’t look like they’re part of the dress code.
TH00TN00T 3 points 6m ago
They’re not sweats or anything they’re pants material they just have the tie in the front instead of belt loops. If your shirt covers the ties they’ll never know the difference, they look like pants
Puzzleheaded_You2601 5 points 6m ago
Huh… for $13 I’ll have to give them a try then.
Danny_z64 3 points 6m ago
Not the "they're pants material " lmao
TH00TN00T 3 points 6m ago
Lmao didn’t know how else to put it
Sarenord 2 points 6m ago
Khakis and a black tshirt every day

Makes me feel like a cartoon side character

Dickies!!!!
Personal-Meringue985 2 points 6m ago
i used to wear pattern leggings like striped, black striped, or light brown leggings. they look like regular buisness pants but they’rlly leggings, i’d also wear sweatpants that are fitted
Kaywin 2 points 6m ago
I have performance chinos that I thrifted explicitly for this purpose.

I really like having nice jeans that I wear exclusively outside of work.
cooky977 2 points 6m ago
dickies work pants loose fit
maxim_moon 2 points 6m ago
Cargo pants either from target or from the outlet section of macy’s. I also thrift for clothes but pants tend to be harder cause not all thrift stores have open fitting rooms.
Ann-Drogyny 2 points 6m ago
I wear shorts from target most of the time. They’re charcoal colored with a drawstring and they’re so comfy. I’m usually feeling hot at work so I gotta have the legs out. 😂
musicfanatic54 2 points 6m ago
i wear plain black shorts
Rough-Tie-3084 2 points 6m ago
Cargo pants are my go-to, but I have some gym shorts that are in dress code color-wise and at a glance aren’t really obviously gym shorts that I’ve never been told are out of dress code. They are probably in the grey area of in dress code tho so YMMV.

derrussian 1 points 6m ago
Ik you hate them but after searching around I found a pair of jeans(at a big and tall store cause that's just what works for me) that ate all black and work perfectly, especially if I even accidentally spill something

I'm a green bean here and I was told that we have to wear material that could stop liquids. So jeans and a hard khaki pant is okay but scrubs or pajama bottoms are not.
MookyOne 8 points 6m ago
Nothing about jeans prevents liquids from soaking in. If that was the main concern tight leather pants would be mandated by dress code.
