Espresso macchiatos come standard with a little bit of foam, but none of the milk, so regardless the milk has to be steamed.

she wanted no foam, and a splash of cream. if you’re steaming anything it would be 2% but macchiatos are espresso and 2% milk foam. she wants no foam so just espresso. and she didn’t change the 2% to cream.

If there's a fraction of an inch next to the milk, then as per standard you do NOT steam that milk. So unless the drink was ordered breve, the cream is not supposed to be steamed.
We have a customer who knows this, and orders an espresso macchiato made with whole milk, and a splash of heavy cream.

If they had ordered it to be made breve, cream doesn't foam very well anyway so they would've had something closer to what they wanted, especially because then we can steam the cream as per standard

It’s not shitty baristas, it’s the fact that the majority of stores prioritize drive thru over mobile and cafe. Mobile is hardly ever faster as district supervisors hound us about having drive through times under a certain average. On top of that, staffing shortages. Get your facts right before you make an insult and maybe have a little empathy, thanks.

Drive thru isn’t even mentioned. Mobile will always be faster than cafe unless you’re doing your routine wrong. And it will be faster to do mobile unless you have a shitty barista
