She got an Irish cream CB and wanted the foam to never touch/mix into the cold brew. Obviously, the barista on bar tried anyway, we got it to foam as much as possible and added extra ice, but of course, because, physics, the foam dripped into the cold brew. She got pissed and demanded to know why that happened. She fully did not understand how liquids work. We can't prevent a liquid dripping and mixing with another liquid... she actually thought the foam would just be straight solid.
The car behind her (dto) saw the interaction (he saw me visually explaining physics using her drink) and bascially called her stupid when I confirmed that yes, I was actually explaining how science/physics work to a woman twice my age.
I'm a barista, not a science teacher... i should not have to give a science lesson.
This job is draining me. I don't know if it's just the particular state/area I work or if all caffeine-infused people are like this, (I don't drink caffeine, health issues) but its frustrating and my mental health can't take it sometimes... im freakin tired lol
End rant.
