How do other partners manage hyperhidrosis at work? (self.starbucksbaristas)

One of the things I was first excited about when I got hired was the broad dress code and feeling like I can actually go to work looking nice, compared to my previous uniformed jobs. But I’ve had to resort to only wearing black shirts because my store is usually so warm and I don’t want to look like a mess in front of my coworkers and customers 😅

I take cold showers and drink mostly cold drinks. Also I've gotten good at slowing my breathing down when I'm running around on CS.

Also, my body temp either runs really cold or really hot. So they only iced drinks apply then.

i wash my hands way more than most people do. probably once every 15-30 minutes even if im slammed on bar. i also just try to always be cleaning something. the sanitizer dries my hands faster than they can sweat lol

Interesting, do you mean specifically hand sweating? I follow hand washing procedures but my issues are more my head/underarms.

i have really bad hand sweating but my underarms are extremely bad too. i wear an undershirt, but my hands sweat so much they sometimes drip. washing them with cold water helps a little bit

Maybe change your antiperspirant? I switched to Degree Sport a while back and it's done wonders.
