Did the egg and cheddar box always have a mandarin orange? Am I just noticing it now? (i.redd.it)

They swapped from grapes to the orange a few weeks ago

it swaps from grapes to oranges and back depending on what's available/easy to acquire

why does the cheese and fruit still have grapes
softneedle 15 points 6m ago
Maybe they just have access to less grapes so they’re using oranges to save the grapes for the cheese and fruit

Switched a few weeks ago I’m guessing supply chain or trying to set it apart from the cheese and fruit
trollious_troll 6 points 6m ago
It did not. They switched it a couple of weeks ago.

They switch between grapes and oranges based on season. I believe grape is for summer and fall and oranges for holiday, winter, and spring

I always saw it with grapes but i would definitely be on board with giving what’s seasonal!

It’s seasonal, around the beginning of the year they can’t get enough grapes to put in all the protein boxes so they swap them out for an orange in the egg and cheese only, will probably be like this till March or April. I usually get an egg and cheese box but I’m straight up allergic to the orange, which sucks cuz half the time it’s contaminated the apple slices.
