This FTC Chair man… like I’m glad she’s going after companies but how the FTC handled the activison Microsoft case was a f***ing disappointment. It clearly demonstrated that the FTC was uninformed on the gaming industry.
I feel like this FTC just sues everything and is waiting for something to stick. And that is absolutely a not a good strategy.
Ms. Khans ideology isn’t practical either. You can’t go after something that may hypothetically create a monopoly in the future. It’s such a weird way to pursue anti trust philosophy.
FTC priorities are questionable as well.
But then I’m reminded that the FTC and by extension the DOJ have to reinterpret old laws to go after these companies. And I can’t help but agree. We desperately need new laws that tackle newer issues. This will give DOJ far more power in going after monopolies

The FTC should focus on OpenAI's failing regarding user privacy, and not the fair use of training materials.
