Im blind in my right eye so parking can be hard especially judging the distance of the car on my blind side when im pulling in. I always end up leaving more space on That side since I'm scare im too close but in reality could have pulled in closer to that car. Any tips on being able to park better?(self.Blind)

When I was learning to drive my instructor told me to focus on the middle of where I want to be, if I aligned the middle with my radio/stick then I’d end up where I wanted.

Wow. Hat tip to you all. I'm blind in my left eye and 20/200 in my right, and after one too many close calls decided that driving just wasn't in the picture for me.
Happily I've managed to make a good life for myself in the metro Boston area where you can do that.

What I did when I was learning to drive (blind in one eye as well), we went to an empty parking lot with lots of plastic bins. We stacked them where cars would be and I would park in and among them until I managed to account for my lack of depth perception. It wasn't perfect, but in the time I was driving I never hit anything because of it!

Same situation. I don't know what would work for you, but this is what I do:
I have my right mirror turned a little down so I can just see my right rear wheel (I don't really use it when driving, only when parking - but I cannot drive without the inside mirror), I have proximity sensor on the back and I've practiced a lot. Also, I've learned not to mind walking a little further if there's an easier place to park there.

Hey there, I struggle with the same issue somewhat since I’m missing my left eye. What they don’t tell you about mono vision and driving is that it forces you to think about where your car is in relation to other things. My best advice is to get some cones or chairs that sit below your sight level to simulate a very low car in a space near you, and then practice in a parking lot over and over. You’re trying to get to the point where you recognize what a good parking job looks like without getting out of the car. It takes a while to get used to but it 100% is something you can easily overcome with practice. Additionally, if you’re backing into a space and have electric mirrors, angle your mirror down on the side that you can’t see so you can use it to observe your car’s wheel in relation to the parking line and another car. Safe travels!

Honestly for me it's just continuing doing it until I get it right sometimes I get it on the first time others I have to correct myself but it could be different for me due to me being blind in the left eye not the right
